The region of Lofoten consists of several islands just off the coast of northern Norway, well above the Arctic Circle. Lofoten has the largest cod fishing season in Norway and during specific periods of the year, the probability of being able to see whales are above 90%. The nature is truly breathtaking with tall, rough mountains and narrow fjords.

Day 1: Svolvær, Lofoten Arrivre at the small fishing village of Svolvær (air tickets are not included in the below prices), a truly  picturesque town situated in-between the mountains with its characteristic wooden houses. Pick up the pre-booked small rental car* and drive into the town centre for check in, dinner and overnight at the Rica Svolvær Hotel or similar. (D)

Day 2: Trollfjord  Enjoy a public cruise of about 3 hours to the most magnificent and breathtaking fjord of Lofoten, the Troll Fjord! The boat will pass through areas teeming with birds such as the majestic Sea Eagle, indigenous to Northern Norway. Rest of the day at leisure at Svolvær or explore the islands by car.  (B,D)

Day 3: Lofoten Today is free to explore the beauty of these islands with interesting villages, museums etc. May we suggest deep sea rafting, a visit to the fishing village of Nussfjord, a visit  to the Viking Centre at Borg or maybe a game of Golf? (B,D)

Day 4: Departure Lofoten Return the car at the airport in Svolvær upon your departure. (B)

 

$915.00 per person - Services included as per above program  based on double occupancy and 2 persons in the rental car.

*For arrivals in the evening, or on Saturdays and Sundays, an extra charge will apply for delivery of car. (Outside opening hours).
